The Power of Affiliates

14. Jul, 2008 by Adii Rockstar in Interactive

I’d like to have this post serve a dual purpose: 1) give thanks to our affiliates for an amazing first 5 days since launch; and 2) to give all non-affiliates a bit of an idea on why our affiliate program is so successful.

Since we launched WooThemes Wednesday last week (about 5 days ago), affiliates has sent about 3000 visitors through to our website, of which just under 2000 are unique visitors. This means that affiliates are contributing about 15% percent of our total traffic from the first 5 days of WooThemes’ life, which is incredible in my mind! What’s even better is that these click through’s are showing a very good click to actual sales ratio, which considering that we now offer Affiliates Signup” href=”http://www.woothemes.com/affiliates/” target=”_blank”>So why haven’t you signed up yet? From our experience bloggers that blogs about any related content (to our themes) such as Web 2.0, social media, freelancing, design, development etc. gets a great return on the banners they’ve placed on their blogs. I’d suggest you try it out – it might just be very rewarding… :)

Anal spelling/grammer guy alert: “which consdering that we know…” should be “now.”

Seriously considering the Proudfolio theme btw. Looks great!

@iChris: If you’re going to rant on spelling, etc., don’t make yourself look like an idiot by misspelling “grammar”.

Also @iChris: “consdering” is missing an “i”. Yawn.

I account for 250 of these visits, but don’t have any sales yet. :(

    Hi,

I loved the Gazette edition, in fact I thought all of your Themes were fantastic! So I bought the Gazetter theme about two weeks before your conversion to the Woo Themes Club.

I would love to sign up as an affiliate and promote your work, but after sending several e-mails to support and sales to ask about how you were going to provide support access to customers like me…I have never ever received the courtesy of a reply.

I am literally stalled for over a week, my site is a mess and I feeel extremely unhappy that the only way to get support is to spend more money on somtheing that I think I already paid for.

Can you please help with this so that I can be an enthusiastic affiliate?

    Thanks,

    Debbie
