Week 2: Roundup of our favourite WooContest submissions
20. Oct, 2008 by Adii Rockstar in Contests
Wowee…
We must admit that our wildest expectations are being exceeded with regards to the success we’ve already seen for the WooContest. When we decided to launch this competition at the beginning of the month, we did not know what the quality of the submissions would be like, but with some amazing submissions already (and almost 2 weeks left for more entries), we’re very, very happy!
So as we did last week, here’s Week 2’s roundup of our favourite WooContest submissions. Again, these are in no particular order and we’re simply highlighting the submissions that stand out at the moment…
Prouder Studio by thecraigvine

Groodeo by izzudin.helmi

The Blogging News by fir.da.us

leTrailer by ledzuc.com

Along with these, I’d also like to highlight Groopholog by izuddin.helmi, lePortfolio by ledzuc.com and textonomous by fir.da.us.
If we haven’t selected your submission as one of our early favourites in weeks 1 & 2, it doesn’t mean that you don’t have a chance to win! In fact, for all you know we might’ve left out our first-most favourite from both these roundups…
We really look forward to see the new submissions towards the end of the month! Good luck to everyone and keep ‘em coming please!

The Blogging News and Groodeo are definitely my favorites there. I reckon they’d make fine additions to the WooThemes arsenal

Personally I think the Prouder Studio is an amazing concept, with great detail to the grid-layout and typography, which are always a sure sign of a quality design!
But yes, there are many fine themes which will all make great additions to the WooThemes library!

Love the first, REALLY love the third, second is okay and not so sure about the fourth – should be exciting to see who wins, and sure do wish they’d all be GPL!

Wow – Prouder Studio seems to be getting the vote from you guys!
@Brandon – We might just release one of the winners as a free theme, who knows? Hehe… We actually plan to release more free themes before year-end, but haven’t yet decided which it will be.

The first three…Prouder, Goodeo, especially the Blogging News are so freak’n sweet. It’s really hard to say which is better than the other. I just love every single one of them. They are truly some hot pixels.
