Week 3: Roundup of our favorite WooContest submissions

It’s only 5 days until Halloween and the end date for our WooContest, so still some time to get your designs in to us. Our Flickr Group now holds 150 members and 105 contest entries which is pretty impressive! If you haven’t already seen our previous favorites you should take a look.

We have been busy gathering guest judges, and we have a few great web designers who were able to help cast their votes. We will be posting more details later in the week as the contest ends. Here is four more designs that we think are top notch.

This contest definately has been interesting to wacth, and yet as you say, there’s still a few days left for anyone else to get their entries in!…

Sadly, I ain’t no good at designing anything as I’d have loved to have entered this, even just for a bit of fun! (Winning is a bonus!)

I’ll definately consider about purchasing some of these design if they are converted by Woo, as I just love the concept people are showing, and taking the themes.

Whoever will be the winner, is going to have one MIGHTY job doing so. To have 100+ entries, I’m so glad I don’t have to pick a winner. In my eyes there are several winners, and I’d hope they can get something out of this contest too!

I expect WooThemes will convert most of these into WordPress Themes anyway, but thats just what I think, and it’s entirely upto the owners!

Right, enough from me!

Thanks for posting my design for 3 weeks and it will be a great motivation for MY LIFE even if I’m not the winner. I hope someday I’ll be a WPtheme rockstar like you guys. There is so much that I need to learn and you guys enlighten me well with wordpress theme.

Hey Adii and Magnus,

If a design doesn’t win but you still end up using the concept for another WooTheme… will you be giving credits to the designer??

@Efrain - Yes we will pay for any design that doesn’t win that we would like to use as a theme.

I’ve got multiple blogs to set up with diff designs and I like some of the entries. Are these people still allowed to sell or use a design if someone really likes it?
