Not only for the awesome designs, but I was able to see what possibilities I was overlooking in a Theme. Case in point: I really liked Busy Bee, but thought it was a bit too modern for my project. Seeing the wonderful customizations though showed me how incredibly versatile the Theme is. Well, I guess I could say the same for all the themes. Fresh News and Gazette also had some customizations that completely changed the tone of the theme. And as others mentioned, I was able to study different layouts / page elements to see what might be possible with that theme. Looking forward to trying them out. You are however not the first one to mention it and we'll make some work to re-implement it ASAP. For example, to see if more complex things are possible with the jquery sliders without too much confliction with other scripts in the theme; if you can see on the showcase a bunch of people doing this, you know it should be possible relatively easy. That saves me time quoting on designs, so I don't have to 'guess' what is possible within a certain timeframe/budget. Ps. I actually miss the 'ratings' on the old Showcase. I find the old sites get buried so it was cool to have the Top 10 on the sidebar so you could quickly scroll through the coolest looking ones ...
