I would go with Magnus jepson says, it is not necessary to show rejected themes, but yes Magnus you can show a counter that says”so many” designs submitted and “so many” selected

Sounds interesting, but only so long as your framework, compatibility, support and know-how all remain at their current high standards. I started by buying various themes at ThemeForest – some were very good, others a bit buggy, and some it seemed like the author was technically very weak.

The absolutely superb support and consistency of the backend is what sets Woo apart imo.

It’s based on a lot of factors like what type of design, will it sell, reputation of designer, what the designer wants etc The offer will vary depending on a lot of factors, but the most important is to agree to a fair price that is a good deal for both of us.

Also, are you accepting only WP single user designs or would you consider some WPMU , BuddyPress, Magento, Drupal, etc designs?

This is very exciting! Is the flat rate the same for any design you accept or does it vary based on how well you think the design will sell/ how awesome it is? Is this a rude question?

Investing the time in selecting awesome new themes isn’t a problem. It’s always finding the time + inspiration to design fresh new themes, which poses more of a problem…

This movement in the crowdsourcing direction makes for exciting times, I look forward to not only enjoying some of the talent, but being a part of it in the new year.

I think that could be a good idea because not everyone has the skills to sell themes by themselves… On the other hand, you will have to invest a lot of time in selecting those designs… But I think it is a good move…
