I feel your pain and it is because of time, that at least 50% of my time these days with Woo, is spent marketing and / or brainstorming new ideas. People generally fail to understand how much time it actually takes to conceptualize a great marketing idea; not even speaking of having time to implement & execute that. Lucky for us though, we have a dynamic team to afford us the time to maintain the business; and not just design & develop.

Excellent advice, thanks. I think I’m a good example of how well it works. I began as a casual visitor to Woo Themes months ago, cruising for free themes , came back again because I had success with one of them [Premium News], subscribed to your feed and enjoyed your “5 minutes” interviews, loved the Showdowns, actually bought a theme, followed you on Twitter, and finally joined the Woo Themes club a few days ago. Persistence pays!

Time. TIME!!! Time is my worst enemy … there are so many things that I should be in the habit of doing – publishing content, making those connections, etc – but I find that I never have enough TIME and the marketing falls short. Great post though. It is a good reminder that I need to make the time to do these things to bring on my continued success.

Excellent post Adii. We have stuck to these “principles of persistence” and it has worked wonders. I especially like this quote:

“…it’s just deciding on a plan / strategy and then sticking to your guns in executing those decisions – even if you can’t necessarily immediately see the effects of those plans.”

This is spot on, great stuff!
