Helping our users with technical issues, along with providing them with modification advice is something we value highly at WooThemes. At the moment we have Tiago who is doing a stellar job of handling most of the support, along with Magnus, whilst the rest of the WooTeam jumps in when necessary.
But as the company has grown, we continue to need more hands on board when it comes to providing a top-notch support environment to our users. So that’s why we’re dipping into the talent pool again, in search of a support ninja to work with Tiago & Magnus to continue providing amazing help to our users.
We are looking for somebody who has the following qualifications:
- Good knowledge on WordPress and WordPress themes, preferably WooThemes
- Skilled in HTML, PHP & CSS
- Good english language writing
So if you’d like to work more closely with us, then drop us a mail on info@woothemes.com, and let us know a bit about you and what skills you posess. The position is part-time in the sense that you can work whenever you want and we’d just want you to handle a certain amount of support tickets per month, but we’re not fussed when you do that during the day (we would however expect daily activity from you). We also believe that the remuneration would be a nice addition to any freelancer’s earnings and you also need to consider the doors that are opened to you for doing (paid) modification work (on our themes) for Woo users.
We’re a fun bunch and we can assure you that not only is this an extremely fun position, but that the flexibility in terms of workload particularly makes this a great job! ![]()
Look forward to receiving your applications.
Note: Tiago has now been with us for one year and we’d like to thank him for all his hard work. He’s an integral part of our team and without all of his help, we would definitely not be as awesome.

Would the job come with a theme club membership? Not the reason why I would want to do it, I just cant afford to buy theme after theme
The whole team needs to have access to all of the themes. So yes; definitely…
Oh how I love the wording the Woo Team uses. — With that thought — A Ninja Has Been found, watch your email with both eyes!
Before I send my email in, are there any prerequisites? I would assume html/css and WordPress knowledge. Anything else?
Yeah, I have the same question…
I’ve added some prerequisites now
I will definitely send an email
Hi Adii,
I’m interested in the “freelance” position you’re advertising to assist with support. I have WordPress Experience and currently I’m busy with Ruby Projects. All said I still have a couple of hours available in the day for an extra work load. Especially later in the evenings (South African time).
However, I’m deaf and all my communication is obviously electronically.
Hoping to hear from you.
Thank You
Hey Michael,
Could you please apply for the job by sending an e-mail to info@woothemes.com
Thanks!
Hi Adii, what level of support is generally needed? I mean do you need someone to be helping with for example custom php developments or just visual and CSS mods?
Sounds like a great opportunity – I’m on a holiday right now though… Once back in the UK I’ll send in my CV, what is the deadline?
Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words guys
.
Just sent you an email.
thanks,
Danny
Awesome job, I would love to help out, but unfortunely Im booked non stop with custom wp jobs.
Hope you find someone
Sent an email..
let’s see who’s the Lucky Ninja !
Very curious about the deadline on accepting applications. Are you able to share that date?
Thanks in advance.
End of this week probably.
OoOo can’t wait to see the results
best of luck to everyone.
Braunson,
Gary Player once answered a question whether he was lucky : “yes, lucky, the harder I practice the luckier I become”
I think this opportunity is more about a certain skill-set & personality.
Cheers
Waiting for the results..
Who’s the lucky guy ?!
