So we’re finally back at the office after our week-long “mobile officing extreme” trip to the slopes, which was indeed an amazing time for the WooTeam. If you had been following us, you’d know that there was much fun & good times to be had…
This means that we’re all refreshed and ready to rock again. We gathered some amazing ideas via all of the discussions on the trip, fueled by much Jagermeister, and we’re looking forward to roll those out in the coming months.
But first up, you can expect the release of CityGuide, which should be going out later this week. The theme is basically ready to go, and has been thoroughly beta-tested, so it’s just a matter of wrapping up the little bits & pieces and then releasing what we expect to be another hit. Thereafter we have a few more surprises (these will definitely include these two designs which we teased last week), but I’ll leave it at that…
And on the content-front, I’m hoping to expand on the idea of using your own products as a great marketing strategy soon. We will also be working on a “case study” of sorts for the Woo on the Slopes campaign, where we have a look at some positives / negatives of the trip and how those influenced sales & traffic (both of which went up btw). So you can look out for that too. ![]()
For now though, we’re just happy to be back and rocking again.

Dunno… You’ll need to ask Magnus about that…
On a serious note though, you can probably expect it early next month.

Hey guys welcome back. I think it is great all the new stuff you guys have done but any news when the next business theme will be coming out? Also I submitted one of my sites to the showcase and it is still not there plus didn’t get a reply after making contact again? I am not sure if you are just updating the showcase but still was not there after the last update so give up on that now.

Sorry for missing your question… And yeah, we’re still in the process of working through a massive backlog on the Showcase (there’s about 150 submissions), so it’ll be a few weeks still before we get through that backlog.

+1 for something usable by business and another vote for Canvas v2
The release schedule has felt a bit thin lately.
