Business Beacon

by Adii Rockstar in Theme Concepts

Following up with a quick 1-2 after yesterday’s release of Unite, we have another awesome theme that’ll be with you soon.

Our business themes are by far the most popular range of themes on WooThemes (did I just use “themes” 4 times in the same sentence?), which means that a month without a new business theme almost feels kinda weird…

Sealight (by Chris Rowe, who also designed Spectrum) is our shiny new theme which is geared at being the beacon within your business. So expect to want to change your business website when Sealight is released soon. And then here’s the teaser so long…

Is the eCart integration an exclusive WooThemes feature or does it come from http://www.ecartcommerce.com ?

Hehe, well spotted. That little bit of the teaser is actually a bit miss-leading, as it was on the PSD that Chris provided to us, but Sealight won’t be featuring this tech in V1.

As mentioned on other blogs (official announcement coming soon), we are working on ecommerce functionality which will be made available in a couple of weeks’ time.

I hope you guys add SSL support as a standard feature to your upcoming ecommerce offering (making sure the page changes to https:// version of a site when the customer checks out). Some other premium wordpress theme developers (that will remain nameless ;) have decided that’s a feature worth overlooking even after months of emails and support tickets.

We appreciate if you could take the discussion of competitor themes on the competitor site :) Thanks!

Sorry Magnus, my comment was really meant as a suggestion for your upcoming ecommerce themes. I should have left the reference to the competitor themes out. Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with :)

A WooTheme with excellent ecommerce functionality will bring you a bunch of new clients. Put some bottles of Prosecco into the fridge for the theme launch!

could we have integration with other things like DatafeedR?? a they have a huge following!

when will there be an offering of expression engine enabled themes to developer package holders?

DataFeedR is unfortunately not on our radar at the moment.

And non-WP themes won’t be made available via subscriptions any time soon unfortunately.

Appreciate you for taking the chance to explain this subject. I’m happy I found your blog on this material. I’m doing analysis on this interest right now and this was great. Keep up the significant work.

How exciting! I’ve been looking for something like this and as usual WooThemes are first to deliver!

Will there be any auction stylee functionality?

Any plans to integrate something that would allow easy set up of Google Website Optimiser? As it being a business theme after all, would be great to easily perform not only A/B testing but also MVT.

Huge fan of your work (especially Canvas)! Keep up the great work!

Slowly but surely, you are entering in to e-commerce direction.I am sure some magento community would turn their choice to WordPress as well.
