So WordPress 3.1 is just about to go out (it should’ve been out already, but who are we to judge) and we’d just like to let you know that you’re good to upgrade. ![]()
We’ve had a play with the beta versions and Release Candidates and so far none of our themes have been broken. As soon as WP 3.1 drops, you can thus upgrade with peace-of-mind, knowing that your WooThemes will work just fine.
We recommend that you backup your theme(s), disable your plugins and generally following this tutorial before upgrading.

i have read you guys have been prepping for post formats. could you elaborate a bit on how you are adapting your themes to use them and when that will be ready? thanks!
Seconded!
More to follow tomorrow
that can only mean great things all woo…
That’s the first thing I thought about too – post formats + woo. I have been playing with my own post formats (the hard way) with my woo themes for a while. I’d love to see where the woo team is going to go with this.
As Mark said: expect something awesome tomorrow.
Besides being awesome programmers and designers you guys are smart biz people for communicating details like this even before people ask.
I just saw that 3.1 was out and the first thing I did was come here to see what I could expect from the Woo team and BANG!, it’s all good.
Nice job.
+1 =)
It was Maggie’s idea; he deserves the kudo’s.
I noticed that when I upgraded to 3.1, the “Insert WooThemes Shortcode” image is broken in the post visual toolbar. The button is there, just no graphic for Woo.
Thanks we’ll fix this tomorrow
WooTheme BackStage slides not working since the upgrade to WordPress 3.1
Any advice?
Hey,
I’m using Feature Pitch and I just upgraded to WP 3.1 and I lost the option for custom navigation under the “Feature Pitch” tab in my dashboard.
The top navigation has been removed as well.
Do you know how I can fix this?
Thank you!
