Designed by Chris Rowe, Definition is a clean and flexible theme with a modular homepage, to best showcase your content. Definition includes support for a wide range of our existing plugin offerings, including WooDojo, WooSlider and WooCommerce, as well as customised homepage components for your content (either from a single page, or as a list of your blog posts) and a clear featured slider, to showcase your message.
Definition comes bundled with WooCommerce support from day 1. If WooCommerce isn’t active, the theme works just as well… and looks just as great. 🙂
Meet “Features” and “Testimonials”
Definition is the first of our themes to add native support and styling for our new “Features by WooThemes” and “Testimonials by WooThemes” plugins. Read our blog post on these two new plugins for more information about what they are and what exactly they do. If you don’t need these features, the theme works just as well without them. No unused code if you don’t need those features. If you do, integration is as easy as activating the plugins.

Hey, is the slider on this theme not working for anyone else using Google Chrome? (Version 22.0.1229.94 m)
Actually, now that I check, none of the sliders on the WooThemes homepage work, either. Did something change in the WooSliders code?
Anyway, Definition is maybe a little too grey-on-grey for my taste, but I’m practically drooling just seeing news on the LMS! What a tease! Absolutely dying to see what you guys have done…

Just double checked, and it is working fine in Chrome for me. Are you on Windows or Mac? What exactly happens when you say it’s “not working”?
You can always change the theme’s body text color via the theme options if you feel it lacks contrast. 🙂

I wouldn’t have put it this bluntly, but I tend to agree with Pedro. Lately, I feel like I’ve seen the same theme dressed up in different ways. There’s been no follow-up to the announcement for OnePager–which many of us were excited about–but I am glad to hear that the LMS is finally on the way.
Keep pushing the envelope, guys. We’ve come to expect that from you.
Well I am on the other hand truly pleased with this theme.
I am so happy the LMS will be a plugin and not a theme. Now I am certain I find use for it and that it will have a bright future.
A theme really should just be a theme. A light new skin you just pull over the site, In a perfect world just settings and images. Faster development of themes and to a lower cost. Designers should not need to be expert coders and coders should not need to be expert designers.
We are moving away from a time where you needed to hack code to change and reconfigure layouts. Why? I have never had a customer 100% content with a theme. Customization is what we do but it takes time and cost money. Everything that makes things easyer to customize is good for us and ultimatly for our customers. They get more of what they vision, want and need to a lower cost.
I think this is the right path to go and I think Woo should go even further to support our work and our customers needs. For instance one should not need to manually create a child theme just because theres a need to put a widget position or text above the slider. We need to be able to wysiwyg drag and drop these things while sitting next to the customer. I think Woo should take a look at frameworks such as Ultimatum and Headway. They are not there yet but the vision of whats needed is there and they are moving towards it.
And again, thank you for making themes THEMES and plugins PLUGINS.
I have been waiting for LMS for age. I hope that it will come out soon.

“Definition” is designed to be clean and clear out-of-box. Therefore, it can be easily moulded to suit almost any niche. The typography and grid of the design have been carefully crafted to make this process smooth and virtually effortless. 🙂

This is a great theme, and I look forward to using it.
That being said, I can’t believe it’s been almost 30 days and you’ve released a new theme before versioning up the VERY buggy Athena, which I (and many others) have contacted you about. I’ve got two client websites in the que that can’t be launched until you guys version that up and fix the Firefox and Portfolio bugs, and I can’t be the only one.

At first I liked it because it’s one of the first woothemes themes to look half decent on an iPhone as responsive (the other is Athena) but after looking through ThemeForest and other sites (YOOtheme springs to mind,) I have to say that it seems like woothemes is slipping. Not only do all the themes look exactly the same, they are also full of design flaws and inconsistencies. I can’t bare designs that are unbalanced or buggy! I’m beginning to agree with others, cost is dramatically outweighing style and quality.
It’s a shame this comment is geared towards negativity but I’m sure u appreciate honest feedback, whatever emotion it arrives in.
This theme feels more polished and just clean beautiful than some of your more recent releases. A perfectly simple clean theme, that you can use for almost anything. A really great base for a responsive site.
I like the clean and simple look like the old days on a blog. With this blog its clean and easy to read. I am a writer for a few financial companies. Here is a blog that I recently made. Let me know how I can improve guys and if there is a plugin you would recommend to keep it looking even cleaner. The default login/logout page seems to overpower all attempts at branding using either framework settings or Woodojo branding (example htp://tqes.org.uk). Am I missing something obvious?
