Transformers’ (the movie) 3rd installment will soon be hitting the box office, but we’ve managed to totally upstage this much-anticipated hit with our own release of Canvas’ 4th installment.

With all of the flexibility and theme options built into Canvas it mirrors the awesomeness of Optimus Prime at his fighting best. We also highly doubt whether Optimus supports Twitter widgets (so old school of him), or our Express.app. Skip the movie and buy yourself a copy of Canvas – a true Transformer.

WooVille is about revealing a couple of secrets and today we’d like to reveal two: 1) the reasons for hiring Ryan as Community Manager; and 2) where Ryan got his nickname – “The Cannon” – from.

As you know, e-mail overload is a massive problem for most of us. And when you have a community of 45 000 passionate users that wants to get stuff done immediately, e-mail overload simply becomes a nightmare… This is how we solved it.

In this Where’s Wally? inspired version of WooVille, we thought a quirky, tongue-in-cheek representation of the WordPress theming community was in order. You’ll find all your favourite theme providers in the colorful WooVille eco-system, but your challenge is to find the WooNinja hiding somewhere…

Some might say the recent Denial of Service attacks WooThemes endured during the month of December were due to a bunch of bored WP hackers cottoning onto the WikiLeaks saga, or just pot luck being in a targetted IP range. The truth of the matter is their were some controversial secrets about the WooTeam that we’ve realised cannot stay hidden any longer and need to be brought to the attention of our users. So with much hesitance amongst us we present you with the WooLeaks.

At the WooHQ, we’re obviously all about theming… So we recently created this WooVille comic, which formed part of a little promo package that we sent to some cool online guys & girls, which we respect & love. The idea of the comic, is just to explain WooThemes (and obviously the theming-bit of what we do) in a tongue-in-cheek way.
