Subscriptions: The old & the new

So as of 17 June 2009, we changed our subscription products around a little. This page contains the information applicable to all subscribers that purchased subscriptions before the above date. For more information on our current subscriptions, please see this page.

1. For users with a 3 or 6 month subscription that is still active as of 17 June 2009, there are two options available:

  1. You will allowed to continue using the subscription as is and all of the rights associated with the subscription before would still be included. This includes lifetime support and access to updates of the themes available to you during your subscription. Note that as soon as this subscription is left to be expired, you won’t be able to re-subscribe under these terms and would need to sign up for a new subscription.
  2. You can choose to switch over to the new subscription immediately. In this case, the rights associated with the previous subscription will be limited to the themes that were available to you under the old subscription. All new themes would inherit the new terms & conditions. (If this option is chosen, you will be entitled to certain cost breaks; see #2 below.)

2. The following cost breaks will be available to user with active 3 month subscriptions (as of 17 June 2009), should they wish to switch over to a new subscription immediately:

  1. If your current subscription is less than 1 month old, we will refund your complete last installment;
  2. If your current subscription is more than a month, but less than 2 months old, we will refund two thirds of your last installment;
  3. And finally, if your subscription is more than 2 months old, we will refund one third of your last installment.

3. The cost breaks specified in #2 above will only be available to users, in the case that they have already purchased a new subscription to replace their existing old subscription. This offer will also fall away as soon as a subscription has expired, irrespective of whether the user had an active subscription on 17 June 2009.

How to purchase the new club membership

Once you have decided you want to move onto the new membership system you need to log in to your account and navigate to the “Add Products” page. Then find the club membership you want, either the developer or standard, and pay for the membership in full, including the once off fee. Once you have done that inform us via email with the 2checkout sales receipt number, we’ll then make sure we refund you the discount mentioned above.

Every month thereafter you will only be charged $15 or $20 a month depending on your club membership type until you request us to cancel your account.
