Theme Localizations
Our awesome themes available in your language!
Introduction
All of our themes are localized using GNU’s ‘gettext’ functionality. This means that each of our themes includes one file (.po) which contains all of the English terms we have used, which thus allows our users to only edit one file in able to translate our themes to any language in the world.
The benefit of this method is that none of the other template files needs to be modified and your translations are thus not exposed to theme updates (i.e. you won’t have to re-do your translations when we release an updated version of the theme).
Instructions: You can use PoEdit or this plugin to help you translate our themes.
Plase send us your generated .po & .mo files in a zip file, and name your files like this “themename-language_country.po” e.g. “freshnews-nb_NO.po”
Help Us Translate
We’d like to thank everyone (listed below in our Hall of Fame) who has contributed a translation until now. For the foreseeable future, we are however not accepting new translations, since we now have an internal group of translators helping us translate the themes.
If you’d like to translate our themes to a language that is not yet covered, please drop us an e-mail.
